This is part of some ongoing experiments to see how far one can go with just Adobe Lightroom. With the presets, its tempting to take any photograph and "make it better", applying one preset or another without regard to the actual material, but I think this preset (with some adjustments) makes this particular picture better. The actual preset used is "Sepia Vintage" from V! Revolution, a commercial product from Michelle Black.
The actual picture was taken on a dock on the Chowan River in north eastern North Carolina. I was going through my archives, came across this JPG, and decided to see how Lightroom would handle modifying a JPG instead of a RAW file.
