Ironic story goes with this photo. When I arrived at this site, another photographer was set up, waiting for this egret to land on this branch. I kept my distance, so as not to interfere. After about 1/2 hour, the egret landed nearby and I as saw him start to leap to this perch, I called to the other photographer. But he'd bend over to retrieve something from his bag and didn't look up in time.
