what a tangled web

Happy Aractober, everyone. I had to dig through some images to find this - its one of only two spiders I got this year.

 

The Spined Micrathena builds a web that is bound to brush your face as you walk along in the woods. This one was considerate and made her web right at the edge of the vegetation. Looks like she got quite a few meals out of it.
