Florentine pot deconstruction
Deconstructing the new pot forms and reconstructing them through woven assemblage. Isolating key shapes and patterns through mixing and changing the combination of both plain and motif papers. Underneath this is a constructed weave; to expand material exploration, assessing flexibility, self-interaction and quality of form. Experimenting with weave tension reminded me of the pierced ceramic technique of this vessel. Together they challenge how the pot deconstructions could be connected to the high vis constructs.
