The Queen of the Desert - Central Asian Cobra (Naja oxiana)

All species in the genus Naja are capable of delivering a fatal bite to humans, and the Central Asian Cobra is considered to be the most venomous of them all. It mainly possesses neurotoxic venom, which attacks the nervous system and causes paralysis, but which also has cytotoxic and cardiotoxic components.
