Sura Kyrka

This church dates from 1892. Today it is home to the country’s largest sanctuary mural created in the 1950s by artist Nils-Aron Berge.

A Middle Age procession crucifix and baroque-style pulpit chair was moved from the old wood church before the wooden church was completely destroyed in a fire in 1998.
