Rae had been to my studio a couple of times and was keen to come back again. She asked if her friend could come along this time. I never mind when a model wants a friend along because, I have found, it often works out they are willing to be a part of the creative process too.

 

We played around for quite a while with some ideas I had percolating in my mind. Especially these closeup, almost abstract portraits.
