Baker City: Tuffstone Buildings

Baker City, Oregon; these buildings are built of tuffstone, a rock made of volcanic ash. On the right is the Palmer Brothers Building, built in 1906. The 3-story building is a former Oddfellows Hall, built in 1907. In the distance, on the left, is the Jett Building, built in 1901.
