Alma: Training School

Alma, Wisconsin; the Buffalo County Training School and Teachers College was built in 1902 to train high school graduates to become teachers in the rural schools in the county. Initially the training was for one year, and later increased to two years, to become a qualified teacher. The building is now used as a museum.
