Reykjavik: The Pearl

Reykjavik, Iceland; six massive tanks filled with hot water from underground geothermal sources provide the entire city with hot water for heating homes and other purposes. On top of the tanks is a huge glass dome that houses a revolving restaurant, a smaller cafe, shops and an observation deck offering panoramic views of the city.
