Heron after sunset

We are having our mini monsoon season in Prescott Arizona. I have so many pictures of this heron. At sunset I spotted it at a distance. I started shooting with a 200mm-600mm, Then switched to a 24mm-70mm. The light started to go fast and I switched to a 24mm 1.4. I The heron stood its ground, and I am grateful for that. My feet were in the water for this shot. I did miss the fly away, but I have hundreds of shots from different angles and distances, this was one of my favorites.
