Two Smoke Plumes
I was talking to a close photographer friend (retired sound guy) about some of my smoke shots. He suggested a metal print to see how it would turn out.
My printing experience is basically sending twelve pictures of my kids out to be made into calendars so dropping 200 bucks on a print seems unnerving to me. I made this one for the sole purpose to print. Although it is not the largest I've done I still have not been able to output a high res copy for printing. The original project is huge and crashed several times. I don't know if it is because too many layers or that I used 2 sources for the circle or it maybe trying to hit a values for the print.
I do know one thing for certain, I'm pretty ignorant when photography becomes technical. But, I am able to spit out a highly compressed Jpeg,
I'm pretty stubborn so I will figure it out, .... eventually.
Original dimensions were 189.6 inches by 169.8 inches at 300 ppi.
