Left over smoke

I must be home bound because here is another image of smoke.

I have not taken any new images of smoke for over a year, but I have a back log of hundreds of smoke shots to go though.

I am itching to try out some ideas on how to capture better smoke images. I even spoke with a PHD from MIT about them and he said it should work.

But the last few months have been a grind with work, it looks as if I am flat out until this show wraps in August. I won't be able to try anything out till the end of summer.

The posting and making smoke pictures is relatively simple process now that I've done several hundred and sometimes the results excite me. It's the set up and execution that is time consuming. I also get very moody shooting in a small spaces and have the habit of using colorful language.

I actually prefer to do what I refer to a "range free shooting". I enjoy not being tethered and roaming free and taking random shots, but currently commitments won't allow that.

So I have to be content working with what I have.

One smoke plume from an incense stick overlaid in photoshop. Hue and vibrance jacked up. Dust specks cleaned up.
