Hello, It's Me
Who Goes There?
I haven't had much luck with the grizzly sightings and photo opportunities this year. This photo is from the first evening I saw this sow that has the single cub. On this first sighting, she must have sent her cub up a tree because I didn't even realize she had a youngster with her until the next day.
Some people interpret a bear standing as a sign of aggression. Bears do have a sensational sense of smell but they do also have decent sight and hearing. When a scent or a sound catches their attention, sometimes a bear will stand to also have a better look.
