A cannon at Battlefield of New Orleans (War of 1812)
The battle was fought between British and Americans in January of 1815....two weeks after the war was over!!! Treaty to stop the war had been signed in December, 1814 (War of 1812). Location is near Chalmettte, Louisiana. A frontal view can be seen in first comment box.

For some reason unknown to me two Civil War cannons are displayed at this battlefield???!!!! Office was closed so I will go back sometime and ask about the cannons. However, a red cannon just out of sight of this shot is from the proper time period.
