The Stilt And The Yellow Flowers
The waters at the Pauatahanui Marsh reserve aren't looking too healthy at the moment, with large patches of green Algae covering the surface on the ponds - and very few birds...!
It could perhaps be argued that this Pied Stilt had had enough of the algae blooms and had decided to check out the yellow flowers instead...!
Or maybe it was just heading for a siesta...!
