Wildflower: A PENSTEMON or perhaps a Figwort (at Dharma Centre of Canada)

As of yet, my wife's researches have not found an exact match for this tiny, elegant wildflower. It grows very close to the ground, and the flower is approximately 1/4 of an inch high. Closest botanical relatives seem to be in the Penstemon family, but the Figwort family is also a possiblity. I photographed this delicate flower in the wild woods of the Dharma Centre of Canada, Kinmount, Ontario.
