Monochrome
Monochrome Ozzy. I used the Monochrome setting in Sigma Photo Pro software. I'm still trying to get used to it. I have no idea how to get the best results in B&W yet. Any ideas in Sigma DP Merrill land? I've tried bringing up the highlights and bringing in more shadows as I like a bit more contrast in my shots. I don't like muddy. The files have a lot of dynamic range so there is a lot to play with here. Also, the files get a bit swirly, and I recall someone saying there is a setting to tone that down. Not sure if it's luminance or some other setting. I do add sharpening. I had to due to the low shutter speed. I was shooting indoors with no flash at ISO 800. I shot it at that ISO on purpose, to see what my results would be. I like them.
