Facebook | Portfolio

From the smallest village to the biggest city, one day in a week or more, sellers coming from the surroundings invade the main squares and the streets of French municipalities to sell their goods. Every weeks, the rite is the same: before the sunrise the truck's ballet begins, sellers finding their very same selling area using the lights of their vehiculs, greetting each other noisily forgetting that inhabitants are still asleep. Around 7 in the morning, while the sellers did not finish settling, the earliest inhabitant arrive, usualy a really old woman who can't sleep has long has she want because of is age. Later, streets are full and the exchanges are at the full. Usualy street markets stop around 1 hour in the after noon. This serie of pictures, « Les Forains » show the reallity of street market has you could see it in all the contry. This pictures have been taken between 2008 and 2011.
