Palacios, Chief Deputy Administrative Operations. Roxanne V. Bercik, Deputy Chief Training and Support Bureau. Mark Stormes, Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal, Bureau of Fire Prevention and Public Safety. Deputy Chief Mario D. Rueda has served the Los Angeles Fire Department for over 31 years. Chief Mario D. Rueda has served the last 8 years as the commander of the Emergency Services Bureau, overseeing all aspects of emergency services delivery. Salvador A. Martinez, Chief Management Analyst/Interim Fire Administrator of the Administrative Services Bureau. Join us in warmly welcoming them to their new positions.
Daren M. Palacios, Chief Deputy Administrative Operations, has served the City of Los Angeles for 31 years as a member of the LAFD. In his new position, Chief Palacios has the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the Administrative Services, Training and Support and Fire Prevention and Public Safety Bureaus within the LAFD.
