Commercial Blaze in Downtown LA
DOWNTOWN LA - At 6:11AM on January 7, 2025, the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1224 S Hope St. Firefighters arrived to find a vacant two-story commercial building well-involved with fire. Several ladder pipes were utilized in defensive mode, and incident command was able to declare a knockdown of the fire in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Firefighters prevented fire spread beyond the involved structure, and no injuries were reported.
