LAFD Fire Service Day 2022
On Saturday, May 14, 2022, the men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department warmly welcomed the community to visit LAFD neighborhood fire stations for tours and demonstrations during the Department's annual 'Fire Service Day' celebration.
The citywide "Open Firehouse" event, last held in 2019 due to the pandemic, was well attended, and included the debut of the Rosenbauer RTX, the LAFD's first electric fire engine, as well as the communities' chance to meet newly appointed Fire Chief Kristin M. Crowley.
