Cubs Manager Joe Maddon '76 Returns to Campus
Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon ’76, and his wife Jaye, hosted a campus-wide party Nov. 18, on the eve of the Lafayette-Lehigh football game. There was free food and a performance by The B Street Band, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band which played at President Obama’s inauguration in 2009. Joe also flipped pancakes with President Byerly at the annual breakfast on the Quad, gave the football team a pep talk, made an appearance during the game, and had a great time hanging out with students and alumni.
