Midway Geyser Basin

Blah... back to the archive! This shot is from Yellowstone National Park's Midway Geyser Basin. I still have a ton of photos from the trip last summer that I never posted.

 

You'd think with all the trees blooming and flowers poking up through the ground, that I'd definitely have something new to photograph. Alas, the fates have conspired against me. On the days that have been good for photography, I've been at work. On the weekends, it's either rained or I've had other obligations. On top of that all, the entire trail system in Shenandoah National Park is closed so park officials can search for a missing man.

 

I was thinking that this coming weekend, I'd finally get a chance to get out there and take some new photos - but the forecast is for rain *again*.
