Bridge Over the South Fork of the Shenandoah River

Simplygeeky and I parked the car and walked out onto this bridge on Rte. 340 (with very narrow shoulders) that passes over the Shenandoah River. Every time a car passed, the bridge rumbled and shook and I held on to the concrete railing.

The river was so still and made mirror-like reflections. The mottled green colors you see in the bottom right corner are floating leaves and vegetation on the river bed as the water is still pretty low.
