Linda says: OK. I must admit that I'm not sure if this an actual crystal ball or a picture that's been photoshopped, but either way the finished product is beautiful. (I am leaning towards it being a real ball). What stands out for me is the very soft and subtle bokeh and the branches of the tree sweeping across half of the ball. And although I've seen many photos of this ilk, this one stands out.

Linda says: My reaction upon seeing this was "OMG, this is so cute", so I just had to include it in a gallery. Great capture!

Linda says: A great example of vanishing perspective, this shot just pulls me into the water and I want to go as far as I can on the bridge. Wonderful eye!

Linda says: I love message photos and this one fits the bill. "What are you doing to my home?", cries the bird but no one hears him. Great shot!

Linda says: I like the way the water turns from white to clear. There is something very tranquil about it and I could imagine sitting there alone, meditating.

Linda says: I, personally, love black and white when it's slightly over-exposed...in the camera or in post processing. Couple that with the graphic effect and this is a wonderful photo.

Linda says: Beautiful arial shot with great color saturation, but the bottom line is that I would just love to be there. Now.

Linda says: Sometimes, and I don't know why, reflections look like something by Gaudi. I like the effect, the composition, the colors, and the fact that it could be a photo or a painting.

Linda says: I don't take sports photos, as a rule, and I sometimes forget to include them in the Bistro...not that there are many to choose from. To me, this is a great example of perfect lighting and timing. Pure grace.

Linda says: For me, this photo just explodes. (Gaslights...giving off halos...get it?). OK...bad joke. But I did have a "whoa" moment when I clicked on this photo in the slideshow. Artistic and picturesque.

Linda says: This is so cool. Wonderful street photography. Her hair is perfect in its imperfection, and therefore indicates that the photographer knows what's appealing in this kind of shot. Love the look on her friend's face.

Linda says: I thought it fitting to end my month's tenure as curator of the Bistro Gallery with a symbol that touches many of our hearts. I was so taken with the movement of this flag...unfurling in the breeze...a symbol of freedom, it continues to wave as we endure trying times. May it always serve as a reminder of how great a country can be and may we see better times ahead.
