rice confetti pouches

I got this idea from Martha Stewart's website. Except instead of putting glicene paper, I actually put rice in the pouches. We had a lot of rice lying around from Jin's parents (I think they were at least a couple years old) so we put them to use. And since we are getting married in a backyard, there are no restrictions on what we throw, but we wanted it to be biodegradable.

 

And from what I read, rice does not explode birds. Or at least I hope not. Or else it will be a pretty disgusting day!
