Utilizing the new on-ramp (to southeast bound 78)
OK, now were finally getting somewhere, as opposed to all that backing up (in photo chronological order that is) and doing turnarounds (which I did in real life)! Since my last trip down 78, many months prior to this late July 2022 trek, we can see that all 4 lanes of 78 have now been shifted from the left side of the right of way, over to the right - presumably so the roadway over on that side can now be rebuilt from the ground up.
And speaking of things I never got around to doing, it turns out a good portion of Elvis Presley Blvd. was also completely torn out and rebuilt - mainly north of Graceland itself. For sure it would be nice if I could at least touch on some of the highlights concerning changes along that route; perhaps by the end of the year, but don't bet on it :P
