Mom (1941-2019)
Mom passed away exactly one week prior to my uploading this photo. Thankfully, her illness was brief, and passing was peaceful. In her younger days, my mom enjoyed painting as one of her many hobbies, and as I was telling Retail Retell (via flickrmail - thanks again for lending your ear), she graduated up from paint-by-numbers paint kits to free-hand paintings like the ones seen here. She was especially fond of the three crosses painting pictured on the right.
Due to the amount of work my family has ahead of us settling her estate, I've made the decision to suspend daily scheduled uploading to flickr for a while, and switch to a weekend only schedule in the near future, with possible uploads in between here and there. I still plan to continue on with my (same ole' :P) photo series in the near future - Spin Street, I-269, HDO Shell, and Wendy's photos were very close to being finished - and I do intend to finish them eventually. In addition, I have recent photos from the Whitehaven Sears liquidation, which will be closing by the end of January 2019. It's quite likely demands on my time will allow me uploading on weekends only for an extended period of time though. I also intend to keep my pro membership going as well, and keep up with all the latest retail news both local and elsewhere. Thanks everyone for your understanding :)
