McD's Hernando: East side remodel closeup

Nearly every building to the east of this McDonald's (headed toward Walmart and I-55) that's been built (or even altered) within the last 10 years has been required to have an all-brick exterior. I'm uncertain if this an ordinance that applies to the entire city of Hernando, but the Waffle House directly across the street is all brick. It'll be interesting to see if they let McDonald's slide on this. If Waffle House had to abide by the all-brick ordinance, so should McDonald's! By the looks of what's going on at this early stage (all of 3 or 4 days into it), it appears they may very well be matching the new construction up closely with the old so they can brick over the whole thing. I don't want those ugly, big, light brown bricks they normally use on the new eyebrow buildings either: they need to be normal size and closely blend with the rest of the brickwork on the surrounding buildings. No exceptions!
