View of the front, later that afternoon
Later in the day they had removed some of the boards in the front window area, which is all new construction. Many fast food buildings are likely already close to the minimum setback from the road, so it's rare to see one expand in the front. This might of been one more thing Hernando let them slide on. Strange how some building ordinances need not apply when it comes to McDonald's! But studying this photo a little closer, it appears that the brown upper part overhangs that unfinished lower wall quite a bit. Hmmmm, maybe there going to use some brick here after all, at least on the new front part of the building.
