Ojibwa Quill Basket

This beautiful basket decorated with porcupine quills was on display at the Marriott Rosseau resort in Muskoka, Ontario.

 

This basket demonstrates the skill of the First Nation artists, this one was made by Ojibwa artisans. This is a dying art form, and it is good to know that some communities are working hard to retain this wonderful artistic heritage.
