From the high vantage point of Krishnagiri Hill in the historic Gingee Fort complex, the land below unfolds in a perfect patchwork of paddy fields. Shot yesterday during my trip to Gingee, this view was worth every step of the climb , a reminder that some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Tamil Nadu lie just beyond the fortress walls.
