Masterfully Designed

This is just a small portion of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City which is the largest church in the world. The dome (highest in the world) was designed by Michelangelo and the altar was built by Bernini. This Renaissance masterpiece was just incredible to explore. It was built on the burial site of Peter from 1506 to 1626.
