25/52: Golden Ratio

Very little time this week and the weekend ahead isn't looking any different with swimming lessons, birthday lunches, dance performances and dinners out.

I thought I'd quickly try my hand at some oil / water bubble shots that I've seen in the View 52 group over the weeks. Basically a Pyrex glass dish with water and oil mixture stirred up to create the bubbles. I rested the ends of the dish on the seats of two chairs so that I could shoot down from above and have room to light the white floor below using two strip boxes oriented horizontally, thus backlighting the bubbles.

A brief play in Lightroom and Photoshop and you get an example of the Golden Ratio as seen in the spiral of bubbles.
