George Hincapie
Gent-Wevelgem 2010
One of my favorite riders for years is 'Big' George Hincapie. A guy who can battle for a win in the cobbled classics and is able to win a TourdeFrance-mountain stage as well. Therefore he is a BIG rider in my book.
After trying for almost a year to get him to 'pose' in front of my lens, the american champion was kind enough to let me do what I do for about 3 seconds. All I needed.
strobist: 2 sb800's (1/2 power) in open softbox mounted on Manfrotto-monopod as main (at right) 1 sb800 (1/16 power, 1/4 CTO) on-camera for fill. triggered via pocketwizards.
