An Indian Fox hunting in the evening
A common animal found in grassland areas sometimes not far from human habitations. This is my 3rd sighting and never managed to get a decent sighting before.
The Indian fox is active evenings to mornings and hides in the den during the day time. Sometimes when the weather is bad or low light due to clouds, it does come out. We saw it a bit early - infact saw 2 of them - as the weather was cloudy. It was hunting close to a shepherd and his buffaloes. As the cattle came closer, it gently crossed over to this rock fence and to the valley below.
