A Strawberry Finch on a beautiful perch
One of the evergreen favorites of most photographers I know, the birds are a delight to watch and shoot. They are incredibly agile and barely perch in one place. Always seen in flocks, they are social and prefer the security of the group. This was shot during last summer / June, and the birds have lost all red now. Again the prime breeding season starts from June and the color comes back slowly.
