A great day for crabs…spiders that is
We saw a fair number of crab spiders this afternoon. Here is a selection of a half a dozen individuals, alll of which I believe to be white-banded crab spiders (Misumenoides formosipe), from the mix. In addition, all are mature females, with the exception of the spider in the l center photo, lower row, which I’d classify as a sub-adult female.
