One More Chance [Explored 11/4/15]

I'm posting this shot in the hope that Karma will give one more chance to shoot the Wave. Kevin Benedict and I are headed back to Utah/Arizona today with the primary goal of obtaining another permit to shoot the Wave. In addition, we hope to spend a good bit of time shooting in and around Zion National Park.

 

This particular shot is from a trip I took last January with Kevin Benedict and Sky Matthews. We were fortunate during that trip to secure one of the 10 permits available via the walk-in lottery. However, we were a bit unfortunate in that it had snowed a few days before and the temperatures did not allow for a significant melt off. Still, incredibly beautiful area even with the snow.

 

Nevertheless, I am hoping for one more chance!
