Wall Mounted Lav Spout + TOO LONG!
Usually, "too Long" isn't a problem.
Here it is.
The spigot is 3.5" too long.
The end of the spigot should align with the drain center.
We can't reposition the Sink Vessel.
We can't make the IKEA Torsby Cabinet deeper.
The manufacturer of the faucet = Danze, doesn't make a shorter faucet/Spout. AND- most plumbing fixtures are not "universal" nuttin fits anything else- kinda like the Macs and PCs time 2 million.
So - other than PURCHASING A NEW fuckin' faucet- and taking out the already installed "rough"- and paying a Licensed,Insured Plumber to make that swap-
I decided to see if Chico, can "hack" the 3.5" off of this part- and silver solder the business end that plugs into the wall mounted rough- and then later have it reChrome plated-
to which Chico responded-......
"What- djew try and insult me?"
"Come on Man- what do you think I am???"
