WTULOLDIES
Rabbi Uri Topolosky
Rabbi Uri Topolosky, the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Israel, welcomed his twining partner, Imam Omar Suleiman of the Jefferson Muslim Association, to a dinner at Casablanca Restaurant. Earlier in the day Muslims and Jews from each house of worship worked on a joint service project, painting a home in the Upper Ninth Ward of New Orleans. The twining project is part of the vision of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding founded by mogul Russell Simmons, Rabbi Marc Schneier and the late Joseph Papp.
