Lone Coconut on the Beach -5015

This photograph was taken during our stay on the Caribbean island of Aruba in 2009. This is in the Boca Prins area. Here's what a travel website has to say about Boca Prins: Situated along the northeast coast in Aruba’s National Park Arikok, this secluded beach forms the perfect example for Aruba’s north shore iconic scenery.

The white dunes in high contrast with the rocky shores make this idyllic spot very appealing to take a swim. However, the sign placed there strongly advises visitors not to enter the water because of the very strong and always present undertows.
