Invisibility
Geckos seem to have a low opinion of our human senses. This is taken just after this shot I uploaded the other day, after this gecko crawled slowly sideways, deeper into this spiral banana leaf. Once in this position, the gecko acted as if it was completely invisible, and didn't react much to my movements.
For some reason, these geckos in profile are always my favorites.
Oh, almost forgot to add that I'm also considering this a "contact" theme shot as well, although it's obviously a repeat. But actually, the very straight body flat against the leaf feels like contact, and we've still got the eye contact going, even if the gecko is now thinking "Stupid HUMAAHN!"
