Its been awhile since I posted a cake,
This is an Almond torte, one of the cakes I made for the barbecue, it has a conical finish to it as I filled the top with Greek cream Patisserie and built it up, also the almond cake had its own dip in the middle thus creating more area for the cream in a flying disc shape,
Covered with thin layer of vanilla buttercream and finished with dark chocolate glaze, adding an interesting texture with those tinny chocolate crisps.
