This piece is about the present. These few months I’ve been working hard on my portfolios, and I was so into it that I forgot to give myself breaks or to hang out with my friends. I’ve became really sick in the winter and my heart starts to ache all of a sudden because I’ve been eating a lot of fried food. The subject is the heart, and the reason why it is in the center because these few months have been all about focusing on me. Such as applying to art schools and get myself healthier. The one thing I just noticed recently is that I’m a year behind from most of my friends, and on the left side of the picture are about catching up with my friends. Studying in community college isn’t the same as studying in a UC or a normal university; it feels more like high school but given much more freedom.
