uncompromising beauty

This is one of my favorite garden in Kyoto, the Komyoin of Tofukuji temple(東福寺 光明院). Designed by a modern landscape architect Mirei Shigemori.

I love this garden style called Gakubuchi Teien(額縁庭園) which means the garden in a picture frame.
