The Vine
The vine of life is a never ending struggle for the light of inner truth…
Our lives are shaped like a vine that begins its journey from the ground up… each ensuing moment there is a never ending need for the light and a inherent desire to grasp and “hang on” in order to advance upwards. What the vine doesn't know is why it is growing and how much its existence depends upon the nooks and crevices that present themselves along the way.
Unlike the vine, our lives do not depend upon outer circumstances driven by ill-perceived necessities. Those only serve to limit us and impede progress. Inter-dependencies born in freedom, however, serve as gifts… and ultimately produce “meaning” to everything.
