- Pattern: Plain Spoken from The Modern Quilt Workshop by Bill Kerr and Weeks Ringle

- Fabric: Mostly Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton solids

- Time from start to finish: about 7 months (but about 4 months of that was spent at the machine quilter's)

- Professionally quilted by Over the Top Quilting Studio in Austin

- Hand-finishing the binding took about a week working on it an hour or so per day
