Shek O Beach is a sandy beach on the south-eastern part of Hong Kong Island. The water quality is fair and is gazetted Grade 2. It is a popular weekend and holiday destination, offering a public barbecue area and many restaurants. The rocky cliffs provide an excellent place for sports climbing.
